Tomorrow I will be at Chaumont Fire Department Barbeque and Craft Fair. Fair is open 9-4. I will have two tables set up and many of my original items and some news ones. I started this winter making purses and tote bags, so these will be available. Used up lots of my scraps from projects on little projects. Had fun making all sorts of coasters and mug rugs. Always feel good when I don't waste fabric. Have a few new runners also. But I am really excited to present my two newest quilts. I have received lots of nice comments on them both, but my applique quilt I get the Ohhs and Ahhs!! Hope to see you there and hope you find something that you want to make your own!
Working on items for my next Craft Fair in Chaumont. Been trying some new ideas. I have purses, totes, more runners mug rugs and aprons on the table this year. I have also finished to new quilts I will be displaying. Stop by say hello and maybe something will say "Take me home with you"
My Memory Bears and Pillows are completed and in the mail to their respective new owners. Made one for each family member. The response I have received from this journey is over whelming. I have decided to add them to my website as purchases. If you have clothing from a loved one that you would like to provide., please contact me through my website. I also have added two new videos showing how I used the clothing, if you are interested in doing them yourself. Thank you for the over whelming responses to this very special project. I am forever grateful. Love and Miss my Dad still very much!!!!
Saturday I vended at the Calcium Fire Department. What a wonderful day. I had a great location and met many nice people. The other vendors went crazy for my nickel cuts and my precut fabric and customers had fun going through my clearance items that were 30 percent off. The items that are left will be posted on a new CLEARANCE page I will be creating on the website. A couple of lap quilts and table toppers will be posted. I am currently working on Memory Pillows and Bears and will be posting videos when it is completed. I hope to offer this as a service for people who have lost loved one. My next Fair will be May 23 in Chaumont. I also will be consigning some of my items to Bay House Artisans in Alex Bay that opens in May till October. As spring approaches, I look forward to seeing some green in the yard soon. I am done with winter!!
Hello All and Welcome to March. Well we have had a long record- breaking cold and snow winter. OK Mother Nature enough is enough. While I was fortunate to find lots of time to quilt. I am so done with the winter of 2015. This month my husband made over a spare room in our house for a quilt studio for me. I have managed to spend most evenings in my little piece of heaven finishing projects. Above are pictures of two such projects. These are posted on my website and I hope they find a happy home.
I have to apologize to my many readers. I had told you that I sent my items for sale to a consignment shop. It has been six weeks, and still nothing on her website. I had hoped with my current living situation that my items would be out there for purchase at least through the Christmas season. But as far as I know, she has had them in one or two craft shows and another one coming up this month. I am totally disappointed that another Christmas has gone by and my business still sits dormant. I am hoping 2015 will be more productive for me personally and professionally. Please remember I still have items on my website for sale. It is not to late to purchase and I will see that you have itfor Christmas giving!!!
Well winter arrived today! Some of our area is getting buried. I always look forward to winter coming, I am a stay at home person and love to snuggle safe and warm in my home. More precisely bury myself in my sewing studio and quilt away. I have two new patterns in my head ready for paper. My studio will be moved to its new location in December and the I believe the holidays are under way.
Guess winter is arriving. We were cold and windy all day and its getting colder this week. I love the thought of winter coming. I look forward to settling in my sewing room and quilting away. I have many projects on my back burner and I can't wait to turn the heat up on them. Thank you to everyone that forwarded my Facebook page to your friends and family. The likes on my page are adding up and I hope to reach 100 by the first of the year.
I can now say that I have four patterns up on my website that are for sale. All have been tested and pictures are listed. Some of them have You tube links that can help with the sewing, but I am available to answer any questions. I will be working on a video on how I collect and save my scraps. Will let you know when it is posted on You Tube. I also have two more patterns I am working up for print. I just finished one as a baby quilt for my new great nephew, Ethan. He was born in September. Hope you are busy stitching. Happy Halloween everyone, don't eat too much candy!!!
Please feel free to add your comments and suggests. I hope we can keep each other in STITCHES!!!!!
